INCOG is widely recognized as the planning agency for air quality issues in the Tulsa metro area.
As such, INCOG will continue strategic planning and coordination of regional ambient air quality improvement efforts,
principally in relation to addressing the challenges of meeting the national ambient air quality standards. Continuing
efforts include working with local governments, state and federal partners, local businesses and the public to provide
assistance associated with local air emission sources, ambient monitoring, regulatory compliance, alternative and renewable
fuels, energy efficiency, monitoring and interpreting regulatory air quality matters; and the strategic planning, development
and implementation of programs resulting from these planning efforts.
