AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY

The 2010 aerial photography program flights took place in March. Aerial Data Service, a nationally known company located here in Tulsa, has collected, processed, and delivered high quality, color aerial ortho-imagery.

The 1,200 sq. miles of coverage includes all of Tulsa County, the City of Tulsa, and the Sapulpa area. The City of Tulsa coverage was flown at 4,500 feet while the remaining areas were flown at 9,000 feet. INCOG members within the coverage area will receive a set of aerial photographs either in digital format, for those with GIS, or large size paper plots for those communities not using GIS at this time.

The program has been cost-shared by INCOG, City of Tulsa, Tulsa County Assessor and Engineer, Creek County Assessor, and USGS. The images have been verified and checked and distribution to our member governments has begun.

In 2011, we will fly member communities surrounding Tulsa County.
