3. FFY2019 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendments

Oklahoma Department of Transportation requested to amend the Federal Fiscal Year 2019 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to more accurately represent recent funding revisions for projects:

 

(1)        Job Piece # 29693(04) – Tulsa County - I-44 Over 33rd West Ave East and West bound, 0.6 Miles East of SH-66 INFRA GRANT from USDOT.  Federal $9,631,429 State $2,407,857 Total $12,039,286.

(2)        Job Piece # 30703(04) – Tulsa County – Owasso: 116th Street N and 129th E Ave Intersection Modification.  Federal $2,186,000 Other $1,403,000 Total $3,589,000.

(3)        Job Piece # 33039(04) – Tulsa County – Jenks: Churchill Park Trail Restoration, Pedestrian Improvements.  Federal $74,977 Other $24,992 Total $99,969

(4)        Job Piece #27291(04) – Tulsa County – Sand Springs: Main Street Extension from SH-97 North to US-412.  Federal $5,843,201 Local $1,460,800 Other $627,836 Total $7,931,837

 

4. Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan “GO Plan” Amendments

INCOG has been working with local governments to update the GO Plan with revisions from stakeholder input.  Staff will brief the committee regarding the progress and process for implementing the GO Plan.

 

5. Bus Rapid Transit Deployment update by MTTA

Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority (MTTA) will provide status update regarding the Bus Rapid Transit deployment, signage, stations and timeline for starting of the service. 

 

6. FFY2020-2023 Transportation Improvement Program

INCOG has been working in cooperation and coordination with Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority in developing the FFY2020-2023 TIP.  Staff will provide update and present a draft program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Election of Officers

Transportation Policy Committee Bylaws provide for election of officers once every two years.  Chair and Vice-chair may be recommended by the committee members and be chosen by consensus or may be elected for a two-year term.
