  • 2010 Safe Routes to School Video:

  • FFY 2011-2014 Transportation Improvement Program Available for Review and Comment - The final draft of the 2011-2014 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is now available for review.  INCOG develops the TIP in cooperation with ODOT, the Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority (MTTA), and local governments within the Tulsa Transportation Management Area (TMA).  The TIP presents a program of improvements to the surface transportation system within the Tulsa TMA to be implemented during a four-year period with federal matching funds.  Additionally, Tulsa Transit relies on the MPO (INCOG) public involvement process for the TIP to satisfy FTA program of projects (POP) public involvement requirements.  The document can be reviewed at the INCOG website: http://www.incog.org/transportation/documents/TIP2011_2014draft.pdf .  A hard-copy is available at the INCOG offices (2 West 2nd Street, Suite 800, Tulsa OK 74103) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The TIP will be reviewed during the Transportation Policy Committee at 10 a.m., August 26, 2010 at the INCOG offices.  If you have comments on the final draft or questions about the review process, please submit them by phone (981-584-7526), email (transportation@incog.org), mail (address above), or fax (918-583-1024).  Comments must be received by noon on September 9, 2010.  The final TIP will be reviewed at the INCOG Board of Directors meeting on September 9, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in the Williams Tower 2, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 2 West 2nd Street, Tulsa OK 74103.

  • Census Update- by now census forms have been mailed or hand-delivered to nearly all households across the U.S., and we�€™re happy to report that the census is on time and on budget. The Census Bureau will begin posting daily mail participation rates on our Web site next week. Visit this site to see how your area did in the 2000 Census.

  • Rail Transit Strategic Plan - Learn more about rail opportunities in the Tulsa region.  The Rail Transit Strategic Plan the Report of the Transportation Strategies Ad Hoc Committee of the INCOG Transportation Policy Committee, was adopted by the INCOG Board of Director during their November meeting.

About Transportation Planning

INCOG was designated by the governor of Oklahoma as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Tulsa region in accordance with federal law.  As the MPO, INCOG, in cooperation with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority (MTTA), is responsible for the development of regional transportation plans and programs for the Tulsa Transportation Management Area (TMA).
