Demographic data is the basis the Transportation Planning
Division uses to develop our models and projections for planning
into the future. We work closely with our member governments
to provide the most up-to-date information available. This
webpage includes the most commonly requested data, as well as links
to other sites that we find useful and have in depth data at several
different levels.
Census Update
Bynow census forms have been mailed or hand-delivered to nearly all
households across the U.S., and we’re happy to report that the
census is on time and on budget. The Census Bureau will begin
posting daily mail participation rates on our Web site next week.
Visit this site to see how your area did in the 2000 Census.
Longitudinal Employer Household Dynamics (LEHD)
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Longitudinal
Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) is an innovative program using
modern statistical and computing techniques to combine federal and
state administrative data on employers and employees with core
Census Bureau censuses and surveys while protecting the
confidentiality of people and firms that provide the data.
