The Connections 2035 Regional Transportation Plan is a 25 year vision plan that anticipates the future transportation needs for the whole region and identifies recommendations for various modes such as roadways, bicycle, pedestrian, public transportation, and freight systems and how they interrelate.

Destination 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan

The Destination 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan looks 25 years into the future - to the year 2030 - and includes the needed improvements to all transportation modes (roadway, bicycle, pedestrian, public transportation, and freight).

2008-2011 Transportation Improvement Program

The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) presents a program of improvements to the surface transportation system with the Tulsa Transportation Management Area to be implemented during a three-year period with federal matching funds.  The projects, which have a combination of federal, state, and local funding sources, cover a wide range of transportation modes including streets and highways, public transportation, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, and airport improvements.

Intelligent Transportation System (ITS)

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) is a set of tools that allows technology to improve the efficiency and safety on roadways by providing agencies the ability to "see" the current traffic conditions and manage the roadway system in real time.  This is greatly beneficial when dealing with an incident and can reduce congestion.  The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the Indian Nations Council of Governments (INCOG) have identified a growing need for improved traffic management in the Tulsa region.  The Intelligent Transportation System (ITS).
