The Creek Turnpike Trail stretches from 96th & Riverside to Garnett Road and runs parallel to the Creek Turnpike. This trail has some moderately difficult climbs and descents, as it follows the grade separated crossings at many of the intersections with arterial roads. For a good workout, this is one of the Tulsa area's most challenging trails (relatively speaking).
Hunter Park, located along the trail, is one of the City of Tulsa's largest parks. It has a playground, 18-hole disc golf course, fishing pond, 1/2 mile walking trail, covered picnic pavilions, basketball courts, and some wooded walking trails. The park, located just off of the trail can be accessed from 91st Street as well.
If headed westbound, just after Sheridan, you must take the "spur" trail (that goes under the bridge) in order to continue on to Riverparks. The "through" trail leads to Hunter Park.
