ODOT has requested INCOG amend the TIP to include the
reconstruction of Wekiwa Road
in Sand Springs for nearly $2.7 million in federal funds, right-of-way and
utility relocation for Mission and Line
intersection in Sapulpa for $120,000 in
federal funds, right-of-way and utility relocation for reconstruction of 49th
West Avenue
in Sapulpa
for $165,600 in federal funds. These
projects were previously approved by the Transportation Technical Committee,
Transportation Policy Committee, and endorsed by the INCOG Board of
Directors. However, due to procedural
issues these projects did not receive the necessary Federal authorization in
FY 2009 and therefore ODOT is requesting an amendment to FY 2010. These
projects are consistent with the Destination
2030 long range transportation plan.
