The Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration have conducted the quadrennial certification review of the transportation planning process for the Tulsa metropolitan area in accordance with federal law.  The review consisted of four components:  a desk audit, a public listening session, interviews with local policy officials, and an on-site review with staff.  Mr. Gary Corino the Oklahoma FHWA Administrator will present the report which is attached.

4. Transportation Improvement Program Amendments  pdf

INCOG is seeking to amend the FFY2010 TIP to include the purchase of CNG Transit Buses for $712,500 in federal funds and $178,125 in local match.  Further, we are seeking to amend the FFY 2011 TIP to include a bridge replacement project in Tulsa County on North Harvard 0.8 mile south of 126th Street North for $176,250 in federal funds and $58,750 in local funds. These projects are consistent with the Destination 2030 long range transportation plan.  The Transportation Technical Committee reviewed these amendments and recommends approval.

5. Coordinated Plan Project Selection  pdf

INCOG has solicited applications for federal funding under the Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan through a competitive selection process.  Five agencies submitted 8 applications requesting $996,166 in Job Access Reverse Commute funds and $249,962 in New Freedom funds.  A total of $965,867 in federal funds is available for distribution.  The Regional Council for Coordinated Transportation (RCCT) reviewed the application and provided their recommendation to INCOG staff.  Staff has further reviewed the applications, consulted with the applicants rated and ranked the projects.  Project summary information and recommended funding is attached. The Transportation Technical Committee reviewed these applications and recommends approval according to the attached schedule.
