INCOG is seeking to amend the FFY 2010 Transportation Improvement Program to add the following two bridge projects in Tulsa County:  Bridge (NBI 08673) over East Creek on 136th Street North west of 145th East Avenue with $132,178 in federal funds and $47,822 in local matching funds.  And a bridge (NBI 08744) over an unnamed creek on 161st East Avenue south of 186th Street North with $176,250 in federal funds and $58,750 in local matching funds.  These projects are consistent with the Destination 2030 transportation plan and staff recommends approval.

4. Population and Employment Estimates for the Regional Transportation Plan Web Page

The land use forecasts and the travel demand model used in the development of the Regional Transportation Plan require reasonable population and employment data. The Connections 2035 plan will use 2005 as the base year and 2035 for the horizon year.  Staff has developed 2005 population and employment estimates for the region.  The assumptions and process for developing and allocating the estimates, as well as the results, were presented to the Committee in May for review and comment.  Staff is recommending approval of the estimates.
