Consider, discuss and/or take action on:

3. Transportation Improvement Program Amendments (TIP)  pdf

ODOT is requesting two amendments to the FFY2010 TIP. ODOT has requested we include a bridge rehabilitation project on SH-72 in Wagoner County over Concharty Creek for $1,787,989.  Further, they are requesting a Statewide Line Item amendment to include planning, environmental review, and construction for passenger rail service for $11,000,000.

Further, the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Aging Service Unit has notified INCOG of approval of funding for a transit vehicle for Morton Health Service, Inc., for $31,955 in federal funds and $6,545 in matching funds.  Project details are attached.  These projects are consistent with the Destination 2030 transportation plan and staff recommends approval.

4. Population Projections for the Regional Transportation Plan  Web Page

The land use forecasts and the travel demand model used in the development of the Regional Transportation Plan require reasonable population and employment data. The Connections 2035 plan will use 2005 as the base year and 2035 for the horizon year.  Staff has developed 2035 population projections for the region.  The assumptions and process for developing and allocating the projections, as well as the results, will be presented to the Committee for review and comment.  Staff is recommending approval.

5. Election of Officers

The Chair and Vice-chair serve for one year beginning in July.  The Chair will receive recommendations from the appointed Nominating Committee for these offices for election by the Committee.
