Coordinated Transportation Plan

INCOG Transportation Planning adopted the Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan in compliance with Federal law. This plan specifically focuses on the transportation needs of elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, and low-income individuals in the Tulsa Transportation Management Area.
2008 Providers Survey - Do you provide transportation?
As part of the planning process, and to inform residents about available transportation options, INCOG is updating the transportation providers inventory. Even if your organization/business only provides transportation coordination, bus tokens/ride passes, or services for specific populations/clients, we still need your information! Organizations who participate will be included in the mailing list for JARC and New Freedom funding. Please visit the Providers Inventory page to get started.
Regional Council for Coordinated Transportation
The Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan endorses the creation of a Regional Council for Coordinated Transportation (RCCT) to oversee the implementation and further promotion of the plan in the Tulsa Transportation Management Area (TMA). The RCCT is composed of representatives from human service organizations, local governments, public and private transit providers, and non-profit and government organizations that provide services and advocacy for low income individuals, persons with disabilities, and elderly individuals.

5310 Vehicle Applications
The Elderly Individuals and Individuals with Disabilities Program (5310 funds) is allocated by formula to the State for capital costs of providing services to elderly persons and persons with disabilities. It will continue to be administered by the Department of Human Services (DHS) but may be sub-allocated to INCOG if it is designated as a subrecipient of 5310 funds. Applications for 5310 funding within the Tulsa TMA should meet a need identified by this Coordinated Plan.
