Demographic data is the basis the Transportation Planning Division uses to develop our models and projections for planning into the future. We work closely with our member governments to provide the most up-to-date information available. Census Update Longitudinal Employer Household Dynamics (LEHD)According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) is an innovative program using modern statistical and computing techniques to combine federal and state administrative data on employers and employees with core Census Bureau censuses and surveys while protecting the confidentiality of people and firms that provide the data. Demographic ProfilesDemographic profiles contain 2000 census data from the summary file 3 database. It provides information on population, race, age, sex, income, poverty, industry, occupation, employment, and some housing characteristics. These profiles have been comprised at the state, county, and place level geography. The following links are for the state of Oklahoma. These maps simply show the boundaries of the census tract and block groups with respect to streets and county boundaries. Other counties outside the Tulsa MSA can be obtained from the Census Bureau's website www.census.gov, or you can download 2006 Census Tiger Line data to use in GIS software from the ESRI website.
