INCOG continues to provide staff support to local governments, planning commissions and boards of adjustments in administering their respective planning programs, capital improvement programs, drafting and updating comprehensive plans, preparing zoning, subdivision and other development regulations. INCOG currently provides planning and community development assistance to four local governments on a full, part time or contractual basis. Those programs include assistance to communities such as Sand Springs, Catoosa, Sapulpa, and Creek County.
INCOG will conduct special studies such as zoning code amendments, subdivision regulation updates, comprehensive plan updates, capital improvement plans (CIPs), special district studies, park plans and annexation studies for member governments as requested. FY 2011 activities will include completion of the Osage County Comprehensive Plan and continuing work on the Sapulpa Comprehensive Plan update.
INCOG also supports a network for community planners within which planning related information is formally and informally exchanged.
